As a professional athlete who travels around the world and sees different styles of Kiteboarding, what do you think about the status of Kiteboarding right now? How do you see it evolving?
The sport of kiteboarding is growing bigger and bigger every day! So many new kiteboarding spots have been uncovered in the last 5 years, the sport is becoming so much more visible. It’s so great to be a part of it!
When did you start kiteboarding?
I started flying kites when I was just 7 years old. I began the sport of kitesurfing in 2000 and in less than 2 months, I was already jumping and doing small tricks. My first competition was in 2003/2004 at the Dominican National Championships in Cabarete against all my friends. It was then I became hooked!
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Study and as soon as I’m finished, I go kiteboarding.

Be who I am and show the best of myself at all times.

Favorite dish to eat? To cook?
Chicken and rice.

Train at the gym, study and listen music.
What’s your dream travel destination?
I’m always trying to travel as often as I can…right now, I’d really love to visit Maui!

An assortment of Reggae, Soul, or R&B music.
